<subject>Perception At Locomotion</subject>
<event>
Perception at Locomotion By Redwin Tursor We are all time travelers Hurtling forward in a one way Screaming train of ill intendioned ultimate Doom. We know the train is going to wreck Even those of us who have Feelings that we will Get off the train That there is something more Still know that the tracks will end And that our journey comes crashing Down. <lj-cut> I found myself putting my feet up Where the cat used to sit So I wouldn't put them where the cat was. The other day. There was no logic for this. I, for one Have firm belief that a cat soul Has better things to do than lingering on a heating pad that isn't there; Like guarding dreams Or chasing stars Or pawing moonbeams that Aliens show through passing strobe lights. In retrospect, It wasn't about a ghost So much as reverence For that memory which passed. We never really talked, Cats keep their opinions to themselves. At least, their inner workings That they discern while Wandering the dreamplane. I know This makes little sense But reverence is enough. Moments of cupped time It runs through our hands And returns to the river. Some people stick their head out the window. They enjoy the fresh air. They hope that they can see where the tracks end. Maybe if they can see when it will happen. They'll avoid it. Most spend their time inside the train. Playing poker. Eating dinner. Watching the terrain go by. Some people refuse to even admit that they're on a train. That there are tracks. That they are at all. The invisible shadow left By feline imprints Shows that I will remember. I do that often. I have a feeling. But it is mine. Some light cannot be shared. What do I do When the train stops? Does any amount of knowing Make the traincrash any worse? We're in for a bumpy ride ahead. Tracks are getting rougher. Rumor has it some thugs Are robbing the passengers up ahead, Moving down car by car. Sounds like a ruckus Worth fighting for. Even if the train crashes, My own is my own. The train roars on as it always has; One train and many. Stopping or crashing or simply fading away. The cats laugh at us from behind the clouds. We're the ones feeding them after all. We amuse them. Still they guard our dreams. They made a deal. They hold their end of the bargain. We'll see that we hold ours; If we stop acting like dogs and Put our head out of the window And feed the cats. </lj-cut>

Bush wanted to Bomb Al Queda and Blair stopped him. You know I used to like Blair, but I'm beginning to think Blair and Colin Powell helped Bush get re-elected....that doesn't mean I put them in the same category as the Cabal, but I think that history will show this a dent in their honor, even if they eventually redeem it. <a href="http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20051122/ap_on_re_eu/britain_iraq;_ylt=Ah22MsPF.lfxg.So5I3tVJhvaA8F;_ylu=X3oDMTA5aHJvMDdwBHNlYwN5bmNhdA--">Story at Yahoo.</a>

<subject>Winning the War of Ideas</subject>
<event>
Recent personal experience with a few acquaintances of family or friends has helped me understand a greater depth of why there is not a grand uprising against the President. From a Soldier's perspective, especially one actively serving in the field, their duty is to their country and their mission. They have taken an oath to defend this country against anything which threatens it or its constitution. For most of them, it is not a question of whether the war is right or not. To them and their families, the practical reality is that we are in a war; and that we must fight the war to win it, and to support our troops means believing that the cause we are fighting for is right. I can understand this. There is a practical reason and an ideological reason. The practical reason is that when we withdrew from Iraq and Somalia the first time, certain troglodytes in the extremist community took this as a sign of vulnerability and used it as fuel for recruitment and morale. The ideological reason is that a soldier in the field is facing the prospect of death all the time. They see their colleagues die and the coffins sent home. To believe anything but the rightness of their cause makes those deaths meaningless. The question of choice is no longer an option for them. A soldier has now been recruited as a weapon of the state; pointed at their foe and given a mission to accomplish. To accept death without purpose is something that would make their ability to both survive and to accomplish the mission. This kind of thinking has an admirable quality to it. Loyalty to one's comrades and faith in leadership are awe inspiring things to behold. In an era where people are often loyal to nothing and have faith in nothing, such concreteness can hold a great deal of appeal. This is one of the reasons that draw people to the military and its lifestyle in the first place. The problem with this mentality is that there ARE dark forces in the world. Evil does not start at the border with the United States of America. It exists in many shades of gray and forms and shadow both within and without our country. The deep and passionate patriotism that so many of our people feel towards this great nation is seen as a ripe fruit for those darker elements of our establishment, who feel it but a tool in their arsenal to be exploited for their personal and ideological gain. Both sides of the establishment have done this. George W. Bush has used war as a tool to redeem his family honor, push his domestic political agenda, distract from his personal failings, wrap himself in the trappings of patriotism and a soldier's honor, reward his political allies with lucrative defense and other political contracts and justify failure in almost every other meaningful area of government. Bill Clinton used it as a method of distraction from his personal failings of morality or other questionable behavior. You'll notice that it was a much shorter list with the latter though. Thus, while I am moved by the passionate arguments made by our soldier's that this is a war of ideas, and that we cannot appear as cowards; I know who pulled the trigger in the first place. We cannot abandon those who have put their faith in us, but in this case it is the brave soldiers who live and die to protect us. But we do them more good in the long run by holding those deceptive warmongers who have used their sacred blood for selfish and dishonorable ends accountable than we do to support the gathering forces of darkness. I will not allow those who peddle greed and dishonor to sway me from my task, simply because the very forces which they have tainted now must defend them. I support our troops. I support them by working with all my heart to make sure they have not died in vain. That does not mean justification of deception, greed or dishonor; and it never ever will.

<subject>George Bush denies Sun Rises and Sets!</subject>
<event>
So now Bush and Blair are saying that the 'Bush wants to bomb Al Jazeera' story is false. <lj-cut> I think I now agree with the statement, "Tony Blair is George Bush's poodle." Up until now I was sympathetic with the fact that Blair understood that a short term deal with the devil would preserve a VITAL relationship that has gone back for more than 60 years between the US and the UK. The UK has a long memory and this is a good thing. But there comes a time that even this alliance outweighs the virtues of common sense. One might be able to make the argument, based on this very story, that Blair HAS done a lot of good at curbing bush. After all, if he stopped Bush from bombing Al Jazeera, heaven only knows what ELSE he's convinced him to do. But now Blair is entering the same territory as George W. Bush. If the doctor curing the inmate at the asylum begins to exhibit the same symptoms, then the cure is not working very well. BOTH of them as saying this never happened. AND THEN PROCEED TO CHARGE THE MEN WHO ARE MAKING THE ACCUSATIONS IN OPEN COURT!!!! <a href="http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20051129/ts_nm/britain_usa_jazeera_dc;_ylt=Alcm4B4qMG3qdiu1bs7p_fQDW7oF;_ylu=X3oDMTBiMW04NW9mBHNlYwMlJVRPUCUl">Click here to see more Bushite stupidity</a> This is the new gold standard to see whether or not what the enemies of George W. Bush are saying is true: Does the government come after them? Do they get fired? If so, then it is most likely true. Specifically, for example, what his Treasury Secretary said two years ago about how George Bush was gunning for Iraq FROM THE VERY BEGINNING! </lj-cut>

<subject>Two Bush Family Tactics</subject>
<event>
Tactic #1 Scream that what is, ISN'T until enough people believe it. -"We do not torture people." -"We must not hamper the ability of the CIA to use whatever techniques are necessary to gather information." Tactic #2 When all else fails, shift blame to a scape goat. Albative armor. So much for 'loyalty' as his highest virtue (see #1) -"I am loyal to my people." -If it is politically expedient, I ditch you (except Karl Rove who has all the dirt). <a href="http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20051129/pl_afp/usiraqattackspolitics;_ylt=AkYFDVojh6lgNignucTeJQwDW7oF;_ylu=X3oDMTBiMW04NW9mBHNlYwMlJVRPUCUl"><b>Cheney might be next.</b></a>
